LHM Records is an award-winning Atlantic Canadian record label founded in 2018. We believe in the equitable treatment of artists, fairness and transparency in our business dealings, and in the power and importance of music. Our distribution is provided by Outside Music, a FACTOR-recognized distributor based in Toronto, Ontario.
Nigel Jenkins is a graduate of the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University, with a Certificate in Entertainment Law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Nigel is an artist manager and record label owner based in Steady Brook, NL. Nigel has worked with artists like Classified, The Lytics, Anthony OKS, Ben Caplan, Hillsburn and many others as a manager, label owner, and consultant. Nigel is the Chair for the Board of Directors for Music NL, and sits on the board of directors for the East Coast Music Association. He has been nominated for the 2022 East Coast Music Award for Artist Manager of the Year, the 2021 Music NL awards for Industry Professional of the Year and Outstanding Company of the Year, and the 2019 East Coast Music Award for Artist Manager of the Year.

Outside Music comprises an independent label roster of award-winning artists, a management company, and one of the leading independent distributers in Canada.
The Outside Music label formed in 2001 in order to release albums by some of the finest Canadian and international artists. Early releases such as The Sadies’ fourth album Stories Often Told, The Super Friendz’ Love Energy, and the Billy Bragg compilation Must I Paint You A Picture built a rock solid foundation. Since then the label has worked on many successful award-winning releases for artists such as Jill Barber, The Weather Station, Rose Cousins, Aidan Knight, Justin Rutledge, Evening Hymns, and more.
Outside Music’s distribution division has grown to be one of the most well-respected independent distributors in Canada. In 2019, Outside Music launched Next Door Records, a new label designed to provide equitable support and creative freedom their songwriting community.
Located in Toronto, Ontario, Outside Music continues to flourish with a roster comprised of songwriters making fantastic music, unconstrained by genre or style.
